This is not a photographic problem but people are so good to respond here I thought I would give it a try and see what you think. We have a HP Color LaserJet MFP M277c6 printer. We are unable to keep it online through the wireless. Sometimes we can print and other times it drops off. We have done everything we can think of including HP suggestions. The only conclusion we can come to is that it has something to do with the router/modem which is Comcast. The only way we could possibly use it is to cable it and then it would be unuseable for the wireless. Anyone had this problem or any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
If you have had suggestions from HP, I would hard wire it.
I use three printers and two scanners, I just do not trust wireless.
There is nothing more annoying, half way through an A1 print, only to have an interruption with a wireless connection.
All my studio is hard wired.
Possibly a new router from Comcast. Or, get/borrow/buy a new printer to see if the problem remains. I wouldn't do both at the same time as you won't be able to tell which is the problem should the problem clear up. Hopefully, one of these will clear it up. If not, then hardwire.
Buy your own modem and router. You won't have to depend on Comcast equipment. We have four computers and two printers, and do not have any problems. I don't know of anyone having any problems with non-Comcast equipment.
