I am building a system that will be surrounded by a grid of metal rods, to hold lighting and other accessories. For the lights I need something that can move along, and rotate round, the rod and also swivel left and right. I hope the diagram shows this clearly.
My problem is that I cannot find anything quite like this on line. It may be a problem of the site's pictures not showing precisely how the light can move in each dimension. If any of the forum members either have, or know of such a system, I would be grateful for information on where it is available.
Many thanks

Two things.
1 Are you able to hang things like done in many studios?
2 Look into something like a microphone gooseneck.

Look at multi spot light rails. These generally are used in commercial premises to light up displays or art work. The light will be constant rather than strobe. Alternative is to make a wood or aluminium runner 3 -4 inches below ceiling and clamp on individual 'bendy' light fittings . I suppose that fixing flash shoes to the runner and wiring them as slaves would also work at an expence
Have you considered a boom arm for strobes? They have a clevis that attaches to a tube, which might work in your instance.
