I am somewhat desperate, in that my Google searches do not come up with an answer as to why my YouTube controls (pause, full screen, skip ad, etc.) no longer work in the Chrome browser. I just upgraded my windows 7 to Windows 10. The controls for YouTube do not work in Chrome; yet, they work in Win 10 Microsoft Browser (an E something.) I really like using Chrome.
Has anyone experienced or seen a way of correcting this problem. I have reinstalled Chrome and YouTube after the Win 10 upgrade. No change in YouTube.
This problem did not occur when I upgraded my laptop from Win 8.2 to Win 10.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Terry Sandlin

Terry, I'm sincerely sorry you are experiencing difficulty, but what the heck does this have to do with PHOTOGRAPHY?🙄

I apologize. I wasn't thinking late last night when I posted it.

Bill, I want to thank you!! My YouTube now works. If you were close-by, I would buy you dinner and drinks, or a good bottle of bourbon. Thank you so much.
Thanks again for responding, in spite of the fact I posted it in "Discussion" and not "Chit Chat." This is a great forum.

I'm glad to hear it worked out.
If you had posted it in Chit Chat I never would have seen it. Next time mention that you are trying to watch a video on "Raw vs JPG". That will make your post about photography.

Not sure what you're apologizing about, but am glad it's working. Cheers! S-
I've had problems with chrome before as well and finally ditched it and switched over to MS Edge. Edge is not as comprehensive as Chrome but it's a lot smaller and very fast on Window's 10. It takes a little getting use to but now I would never switch back.

What caused your problem & how did you resolve it?
I'm using Win10 & Chrome and YouTube seems to be working fine for me.
TIA

I assume the settings in Chrome changed when I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7.
Much earlier in the year, I upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.2 to Windows 10. I had no problems with YouTube after that upgrade.
