right here but, we need to get off our duffs and get in the game. democracy is a full time job and most of us aren't putting our 40 hours in.
1 limiting voting time to 12-16 hrs makes no sense.
2 there are many country's where the voting rate is 80-95 %. I can't remember an election where we had 75%. maybe we need mandatory voting.

Why do you think democracy should be a full time job, and what do you expect that we should do for 40 hours?

because if it isn't, we elect idiots to government, sit back while special interest buy our government, and watch our freedoms disappear. 40 hrs. is a figurative term, it means we should put more time and effort into our part in government that we do at present.
