With cameras, like rifles, need doesn't have much to do with it.

I know what you mean, I got two big safes full , need to sell some but my son is just waiting.
Good for you, although I hope it's not your last. What camera did you have before? Do you also use it for video? Have fun.
Rick
I was thinking that way, but one kid is a lefty, and the other doesn't seem to have much interest. May thin things a bit and buy one of those incredibly expensive super teles with the proceeds.

Sometimes I go months without Buying one -- use one most every day! ;-)
Since octogonarian qualifying, have passed more than ten years of GAS and the pressure is still unrelenting. Just got a D750 and might swap for a PHASE TWO, too. Relax and keep movin'. Bob
I read this at the get go as a guy who just elevated his photography to a DSLR ..7200 ..and was happy thinking this great Nikon so many of us own will be all I need for ever ..
Glass 1/ full .. Or 1/2 empty ... It's what makes the world go round and all of us unique with our own thoughts .., perceptions and feelings ...😘
Wesso, first, you're welcome. Second, I agree with you on the keep buying cameras part. It seems many on this site live for the next camera they can purchase, and they haven't quite reached the limits of the one they currently own. I've never understood that.
