I thought WOODY WAS A RED HEADED WOODPECKER not a brown one. Great shots bye the way I think that is a western flicker

Yep, it is a Flicker, and yes Woody Woodpecker was a redheaded woodpecker. I think they must be nearly extinct, I have not seen on in many years.
