Every state has a list of forbidden license plates, but occasionally, authorities must decide on the fly. I have seen some on the road that slipped by the censors, and I saw this picture online.

A guy up here had this on his tag.... 6SIXVI. I had seen it a few times. Then one day the guys on the radio were talking about it. Apparently someone with too much time on their hands had seen it and felt it was inappropriate. They actually complained to D.O.T. and the guy got a notice that his tagged was going to be revoked.

Sometimes the drivers find a way to outsmart the authorities.

I always thought it would be funny to have a license plate that read, "11111111." Imagine a cop trying to read that and get it right. I assumed it would not be allowed, but one day I saw such a plate.

My plate reads PCNOTME. I did it to piss off the ultra PC faculty at my college.

I thought that meant you were a Mac user.

I was stopped for speeding by a cop who asked what it meant and smiled when I told him. I still got the damned ticket.

While driving down the interstate, I noticed a Corvette with 0110 1001 on the rear plate.
All you computer programmers should get this one.

I had IMNTRT on my Missouri plate (we are limited to six letters or numbers) I was going through a drive thru at Taco Bell and the clerks were laughing at my plate. I asked them if they knew what it meant and they started giggling again. (It means I'm Not Right) They thought it meant I'm Neutered My response was, Yes I am, but that's not what it means.

That's a nine character plate. Was it foreign?
Or is there a state that allows nine characters?

See? I told you it was confusing. I should have typed eight 1s - or just seven. It was a NY plate, and I was surprised it was allowed. By the way, we have a lot more than nine "characters" in NY state.
