Actually, there is some validity to that. Law enforcement personnel (both sworn and unsworn) generally prefer not to have their pictures published for personal and family safety reasons. However, photographs which are taken and given to the officer or his/her family are a different story; the idea seems to have some positive aspects.

Agreed. Would never have thought the photographs would have been published anywhere for exactly the reason you state.

I like the idea and I am sure not every officer would want their picture taken. I am one of those people that prefer to be behind the camera.

Get over it...if a family wants a photo and arranges to have one taken for free then I guess they want it. IF you, (YOU), dont want yours taken, then dont go there.

Seem like a lot of negative Nellys.
