Oops, forgot to attach picture.
After years of trying, I shot this moose in southern Ontario, about 100 miles northwest of the 1000 Islands, above Sharbot Lake. He has been hanging around for several years but could not seem to hook up with him. Used my 7DMkII with 70-200L f2.8 II.

Awww, good one, banster! I love moose! All my moose shots are from Algonquin Park...and I took them with a film camera! Someday I'll have to scan them to the computer.

Been to Algonquin Park several times, never saw moose. Fished several lakes within the park and the Ottawa River out of KO Lodge in Deep River, Ont. on the northeast edge of the park. I don't live to far from you, Williamsport, PA, home of Little League Baseball.
I'm trying to think of the name of the lodge where we stayed on the edge of Algonquin, banster...could be something like Ox Narrows??? We had a mama and baby moose cross the road right in front of us and they thought they were hiding in some ferns, but I have a picture framed of them "hiding" and it's cute! Yep, you're not too far from us! If we ever get out that way I'll let you know. We have friends in Stahstown south of Pittsburgh.
