It might be interesting to note that there is not a war on black men by the police, in most cases those shot had records of violence and were in possession of a gun at the time of the shooting. What we will see as a result of the recent assassination of police officers is an increase in the number of questionable shootings. Law officers will soon see any and all as potential threats and react even quicker which will increase the number of police shootings.
I have a close friend here in the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department working overtime as the result of deputies leaving the force in search of safer employment.

You can discount political rhetoric if you so please and blame it all on the availability of guns if you so choose, but with close to 300 million guns in this country, millions of which are not registered or even legally possessed, your solutions will fail, do you think that these murders cops over the last few weeks were done with legally owned guns? Is it likely that they were committed with guns purchased on the street? I have no problem with things like liability insurance on guns, it will protect people injured by guns in accidents and such, it does little to nothing to address criminal acts committed with guns, if you want to extend such liability to the original purchaser after a legal weapon has been sold or stolen then what you are in effect doing is threatening the 2nd amendment as the cost of such insurance would be prohibitive.

I do think that we can look to our president's words, the democrat party's words, the words of BLM and the Black Panthers as well as the funding sources of political unrest in this country which tends to directly benefit the democrat party and find real issues that costing innocent cops to die and real issues that deserve to be dealt with. I don't give a shit what you say Art, the Democrat political machine including the MSM which is a part of it has the blood of cops on their hands.... Is this the 4th or 5th ambush in the last two weeks? You guys dismiss the rhetoric that creates this insanity and go directly to guns.... Bullshit, your efforts to curtail the gun rights of law abiding citizens will do nothing to stop the carnage, changing the tone of your political machine will go much further.

I am still waiting for the investigation to be reported, if a cop knows that you have a gun in your possession and you reach for your waist when you have been told to keep your hands raised.... Same with Alton Sterling, not saying that he deserved to die, but he was armed and resisting arrest, who knows where the hand was that was not shown in the video and just how close it was to grasping the gun that was in his pocket, again, I am not saying that the cop is in the clear, but I think one must wait for the facts to come out before passing judgement.
