Would that be like requiring all car owners to have INSURANCE to pay for any damage done by accidents?

That's for ACCIDENTS. You lose again.

Typical racist response... oh, unless you meant "Black Trash" as a compliment? lol

Typical leftist nonsense that won't stop these black trash Democrats from murdering our good police. On top of that they want to tax everything
that has to do with guns. How did prohibition work out? How about a bounty on Black Lives Matter demonstrators and a very steep fine and a minimum of
20 years in hard time prison for anybody selling drugs.

Follow the conversation, dimwit. OP suggested that all gun owners be required to carry insurance. I was asking whether it would be like requiring all car owners to carry insurance. That was sarcasm -- all car owners are required to carry insurance, but not all do.

Obama is to blame? lol You are Hilarious. Is that your 'go to' response in conversations with friends and family? Are you that predictable? Do they mock you to your face or just behind your back?

Why are you blaming the NRA for the fruit of Obama's and the democrats' rhetoric? This has nothing to do with gun laws and everything to do with democrat politics....

ambushing and killing our police aren't 'BLACK TRASH'. No wonder you support Hillary and Obama who support that
RACIST group 'Black Lives Matters'.

Your "new America" has much less to do with guns and their availability and much more with the arrogance, condescension and authoritarianism by those in power. Whether it's the politicians in DC, or the state capitols or the local police, they are out of control and a revolt against them has begun. You can see that in the selection of political candidates and the attacks on cops.

You post your "blah blah blahs" as though these murders in Baton Rouge occurred out of the blue. They didn't -- they are a response to years of abuse by the people in power. Many are content with keeping that revolt contained to the ballot box, but others have reached the boiling point. This won't be the end of it by a long shot. It's like the powers that be have been walking deeper and deeper into a swamp and have no idea where they are or how to get out of it.

Referring only about the black trash that are propagating the murders of our police, it seems the real ROOT of the trouble
starts at home where their isn't a father figure because the chances are he is in jail, the mother can't trace the kids genealogy
past last night and most are failures in life without any morals or principles, won't work and are sucking the teat of our country
and that's for starters. Don't blame the government, politicians or police for their failure, you are sounding like the POS
Hillary, always lying.

And you sound like the conservative talking heads on the radio -- "there's a war on the police". The truth is that there is a war going on between the police and young blacks. Unless you think that the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philandro Castile were the result of good police work, there's a lot of fixing that needs to be done on both sides before we'll find any remedy.

In that short paragraph, I believe you managed to lay out all the stereotypes one can list to prove their familiarity so one might insure the GOP and other conservatives gain support for their presidential candidate. Yup, that is some real inclusive talk there...

It might be interesting to note that there is not a war on black men by the police, in most cases those shot had records of violence and were in possession of a gun at the time of the shooting. What we will see as a result of the recent assassination of police officers is an increase in the number of questionable shootings. Law officers will soon see any and all as potential threats and react even quicker which will increase the number of police shootings.
I have a close friend here in the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department working overtime as the result of deputies leaving the force in search of safer employment.

Ah... as expected, the "There is No Solution Posse" has shown up. Surely amongst you there is the possibility of a reasonable effort to solve this situation, instead of just throwing up your collective hands and saying... "It can't be done!"

You can discount political rhetoric if you so please and blame it all on the availability of guns if you so choose, but with close to 300 million guns in this country, millions of which are not registered or even legally possessed, your solutions will fail, do you think that these murders cops over the last few weeks were done with legally owned guns? Is it likely that they were committed with guns purchased on the street? I have no problem with things like liability insurance on guns, it will protect people injured by guns in accidents and such, it does little to nothing to address criminal acts committed with guns, if you want to extend such liability to the original purchaser after a legal weapon has been sold or stolen then what you are in effect doing is threatening the 2nd amendment as the cost of such insurance would be prohibitive.

I do think that we can look to our president's words, the democrat party's words, the words of BLM and the Black Panthers as well as the funding sources of political unrest in this country which tends to directly benefit the democrat party and find real issues that costing innocent cops to die and real issues that deserve to be dealt with. I don't give a shit what you say Art, the Democrat political machine including the MSM which is a part of it has the blood of cops on their hands.... Is this the 4th or 5th ambush in the last two weeks? You guys dismiss the rhetoric that creates this insanity and go directly to guns.... Bullshit, your efforts to curtail the gun rights of law abiding citizens will do nothing to stop the carnage, changing the tone of your political machine will go much further.

You know what? I am still waiting for the investigation to be reported, if a cop knows that you have a gun in your possession and you reach for your waist when you have been told to keep your hands raised.... I don't give a shit if you are black or white there is a good chance that you will be shot.

Same with Alton Sterling, not saying that he deserved to die, but he was armed and resisting arrest, who knows where the hand was that was not shown in the video and just how close it was to grasping the gun that was in his pocket, again, I am not saying that the cop is in the clear, but I think one must wait for the facts to come out before passing judgement.
