I actually know something about this barn.

At just under 2.000 years old, the Grizzley giant is the oldest tree in the Grove. And it sets 8/10 of a mile from the parking lot. A few years ago a lady asked one of our Rangers "Why did they plant the Grizzley giant so far from the parking lot"? And yes, this is a true story!

LOL. But the information is still meaningful. And it is more than any of us knew.
I left out the really good part; it has a modern garage door on it.

great shot Tom, well it's more than I know
Thanks, but it is missing something. Hmmm... Oh, yeah! Egrets!

Obviously the trees weren't there then!
Makes you wonder what has been in there? And still maybe?
Well, I need to go back there. Just to the left (south) are the remains of a horse barn with stonework stalls. The stalls are still standing.

Boyyyyy have I missed your sense of humor lol :)
Thanks for my "something new learned today" ;)
We have missed you too, tilde! Yeah, I have caught some Holy Hell with some of my humor; especially the posts where people say things like "Great shot" on a real out of focus, badly lit, poorly composed photo where there are 10 pages of these sort of responses. People get angry at me when I unload both barrels, but what they don't realize is that I am just saying things tongue - in - cheek. You would have caught it.

Check my posts--barns are my primary subjects.
I may not comment on everything, but I have seen all of your stuff and I always like it.
Yeah, I'm full of it, aren't I?

Nice barn. You have an awesome memory!
Thanks for sharing.
I guees you're right. I do have a good memory. I just learned that about the barn only a week ago and I still remembered this when I made the post. Still can't remember the 60's too well though.
That was 2 years before my father was born! Oooollld barn! Yep, and good shot, too!
