Jim, it's interesting. However, I think I'd have just titled it "Rock Surfaces". Let the viewer discover "What's Up There".

I get the impression the idea might work well if you used a part of the cliff surface that had a passing resemblance to a face. The way it is it strikes me as being a bit creepily odd.

I was looking for a bit creepy. I could find one of my shots that had any resemblance to a face. I took both of these pictures. I tried to make only her hair out of rocks but that didn't work. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

I'm surprised R.G. can't see the 2 cheek bones, nose, mouth, and chin, they are very pronounced....laugh. Looks like the "swamp thing". Interesting Pops.

There is a very small part of her mouth and nose in there. I will probably be the only one that can see it.

No pun intended, but those eyes really caught my eye. I like it. Reminds me of the old man in a tree carvings you see every now and again, but this is in rock.

What is perceived as suggestive of facial features other than the eyes is highly personal, of course, but I think that with a light hand at minimal cloning and patching that barely subliminal lips, a nose, hair and chin could easily take form. Your aim was..."eerie"???

Some experiments work and some don't. Unfortunately, I prefer your other works best.

I thought it might be something like that. I first tried to just make her hair out of the rocks. That failed miserably.

Thanks for stopping by Heather. Once I did this I wasn't sure if I liked it or toss it in the trash. I think I will keep it for fun but will never make a print of it.
