well what a dull day it was lol , took my new sigma out with the canon 7d2 ( all hand held ) first thing I noticed was she needs lots of light which I did not have lol , but for straight out the box no lens calibration was very impressed really
ok yes light would be nice but I managed a few fair shots did not bother trying the new convertor next time
the OS is not working on standard but have it working on c1 and c2 settings set on sigmas port waiting on a reply from sigma about that one
was out for about 4 hours and found it pretty easy to use , carry, well used to the 120-300 f2.8 sport so found it was not as bad as people say
photos range from 640 to 6400 iso so with such high iso was happy with the results all in all
It looks a good lens Paul these are great shots . I'm toying with the idea of getting a lens like this to replace my Sigma 150-500.
You're off to a great start, they look terrific!
It looks like you made the right choice with that lens.
Gawler, Looks like you have a keeper. That lens is sharp. Great capture and images. I have the sigma sport also and love it hand held also.

Sigma does not make a Sony a-mount version. But you can use a Canon mount with Sigma adapter on a Sony e-mount
Great shots, gawler! What kind of duck is that in the first one?
