And the affordable care act works so well. The region i live in is down to just two providers for health care plans if you are self employed or need to go through one of the insurance exchange programs. Even traditional health care through the insurance companies is getting hard to come by.
My wife is 60 and has had a hysterectomy, but under the current plan both of us have to pay for coverage for prenatal care and pregnancy. Does that make sense to anyone.
Prior to obamacare i would have been able to retire this year. Now I can't because the cost of insurance has gone so high and the amount of coverage has gone down so much. My wife retired this year and it takes 50% of my monthly income to pay for her insurance coverage through my work. If I retired also it would take 50% of our entire retirement just to pay for insurance.
Obama care may have put 20 million who did not have insurance onto insurance plans, but it has made millions more undercovered and at great financial cost.
And you think it's a good idea to expand the government program and make the costs to taxpayers even higher?
