Slingshot motorcycle.

This motorcycle was parked in my neighborhood. I have never seen such motorcycles before and decided to take few pictures. C&C please.
I'm sorry, that don't fit any definition I have for a motorcycle. When you add a third wheel, you either have a sidecar rig or a trike. In England Morgan has made a three wheel motor car for years that is laid out just like the Slingshot.

My husband and I rode with a group of friends La Belle Province-Quebec, last month.
We saw several slingshots in Old Quebec and two at a service station.
It sure catches the eye. Alas there isn't much room to pack rain gear or an overnight bag.

A friend of mine has one of these. I think he called it a sling shot. I went for a ride with him. At first it was very scary. But it really is pretty stable and can go through turns very fast and it still seems safe. But that first 15 minutes was very scary.:):) Would be fun to have one, but the traffic we have around us now, it wouldn't be to much fun when you can't go fast.:):)

They're licensed as a motorcycle, hence no seat belts are required. It steers like a car though. Depending on the model they start at around $21,500. That's a heck of a lot of dough for a vehicle you can't drive all year around in much of the USA.

That's a Polris Slingshot. My neighbor bought one a few years ago and he let me touch it and even sit in it. It's quite a machine. It seems Polris likes to call it a motorcycle.
Slingshot® is a three-wheeled motorcycle. It is not an automobile, it does not have airbags, and it does not meet automotive safety standards. Three wheel vehicles may handle differently than other vehicles, especially in wet conditions. Always wear DOT approved full face helmet and fasten seat belts. Driver may need a valid motorcycle endorsement. Don’t drink and drive. ©2016 Polaris Industries Inc.

A motorcycle has two wheels and that vehicle 3 wheels. That is what is called a "trike". Many State's DMV simply put anything with 3 wheels in the motorcycle category but that does not make those vehicles motorcycles.
Nice shots by the way. There is a dealer here in Santa Monica, I stumbled across it one day and walked around looking at the hardware. Pretty cool.
If it is made by Polaris its pedigree is more snowmobile than motor cycle. Pretty cool though.
This is my Slingshot, they have a 2.4l GM engine and are very comfortable to drive.

I live in Florida and it in my garage, so yes it's mine.
