No one party spoke out against them...human beings of both parties did. There was a peaceful demonstration and the shooter went nuts thinking all cops were bad and shooting white cops. This isn't a Democratic or Republican problem, it's an individual crazy problem. Yes, the instigation was the two shootings, at first glance, they looked to be wrong and are being investigated now. Stop having FOX do your thinking for you. If you read anything else into it, you are the problem.

I agree with you that this was 5 crazy people. What I see are people on sides fanning the flame and getting these crazy people all wound up. That is despicable.

I fight with those who would drag our country into a socialist pit we may never get out of. You have no idea who I am or am not proud of, no information on your part as usual, just progressive propaganda.

Bobbee, I'm willing to take part of the blame, I just don't know why others won't. We're all in this world together and none of us are going to get out alive. Why can't we figure a way to get along? I'm willing to...there is no reason for ppl to talk about getting guns and ammo... What are they going to do with it, use it against their neighbor?

I think that getting along is a great plan, however in today's world we have been so divided that there seems to be no middle ground, the 2nd amendment argument is a good example of this. I don't know where we can go to start the healing process.

I'll agree with most of this. That deranged shooter from Dallas had this planned prior to the two shootings of the two Black men by the police, he couldn't have acquired all of what he had in such a short time. However as to having Fox do your thinking for you is where I see a big difference. As far as news reporters go when 94% are Democrats and only 6% Republicans it's not hard to see why all of our news is slanted to the left. The educational system is also leaning hard to the left too. It's getting so bad that I find it hard to watch the evening news including the BBC. I've never seen this country so polarized as it has become since Clinton I and it has escalated in the last 7 1/2 years to a very dangerous point, almost a flash point. When a large working part of this country has lost faith with the politicians, both party's and the Judicial system the entire future of this country is at stake. Fox news is to the right, no question but it's the only news source that differs from the main line news, nothing in the middle. Calling people names that don't agree with our ideals won't solve the problem. If our elected officials can't or won't try to find common ground and learn to give and take, work across the isle, what are we to do? Too bad we just can't vote them all out at once and start over. I seem to recall that they are supposed to be working for us and not just themselves. Jimmy Carter wasn't the best President we ever had but as an American he's at the top and it's too bad that our politicians can't emulate Jimmy Carter the man.

We are in many ways at a crossroad, or perhaps have already passed it by. From my little corner of the world I believe that president should never be the "president of his/her party" but the president of the nation. His/her role is to be the LEADER and understand how opposing factions can actually result in worthwhile actions. The president, as all senior leaders do, sets the tone. From this supporters parrot and amplify "the tone" and the non-supporters embrace the tone for their points. When "the tone" is demonstrated to be objective and fair and establishes the standard of performance of the LEADER, things tend to progress. When "the tone" is unfair and significantly biased (as in this administration) the actions are observed as only representing the very narrow perspective. The "other side" can rarely be given a fair hearing in almost any matter before the administration.

The Bill Clinton and Reagan administrations demonstrated how effective leaders are capable of bringing divergent forces together to enact positive results. As much discussion there is about Bill and Ronald and their particular character issues, it should be clear they were effective in bringing both parties together into discussion and action that resulted in some rally amazingly positive things. To me results count. Good and bad results need to be recognized and the "how and why" studied by astute people.

Tell me your thoughts on why it was that this man wanted to kill white people, especially white police?

I agree with you about President Carter, he is to be admired.

I don't mean to be divisive, but I've yet to see a Dem, a Progressive or a Liberal say anything about buying more ammo or guns in these times.

There you go, bad shootings? We have not yet gotten the facts, need I remind you of Trayvon Martin or Michael Brown? I can guarantee you that at least one of those cops will not be convicted of anything, as it is clear that he was in fear of bodily harm to himself. The other? I will reserve judgement until more facts come out.

As far as your little rant goes?

Just why do you think he hated whites??????????

It is a democrat problem, it started with Trayvon and has never stopped, look at the chants from the left.... "Hands up don't shoot!" based on a falsehood of an innocent teenager trying to surrender himself to a cop when exactly the opposite was proven during the investigation, he had assaulted the cop trying to take his gun and was at the time he was shot was charging the cop.... The left including the president and Clinton, as well as the media outlets have never stopped stoking this meme, you do know that Dallas was only one instance during the last week, three other cops were ambushed and shot in three other states. Your politicians especially Obama have used these memes and others to get the vote out, to energize their base....

The conditions that urban blacks live in, the conditions that lead to heightened crime rates, high murder rates, the conditions that lead to a disproportionate incidence of police interactions, and a whole myriad of other problems are the direct results of liberal policies, of course it would be political suicide for the libs to own up to their failures so they have started a new war, on whites and white privilege and on cops... Fox has never thought for me but it does appear that someone other than yourself is thinking for you.
There you go, bad shootings? We have not yet gott... (show quote)

Do you mean the one that was walking away.

How more clearly can I put it. It's members of the GOP who wish to have more ammunition and more guns. I wonder why????? Perhaps they're the problem. They hate this president, they hated Bush, they hated Clinton... However, they have the Senate and the Congress and a hateful bigot for a presidential contender...the Congress isn't going their way, they don't want to say it but they hate them too. A lotta hate is going on in the GOP. Couple that with their paranoia and you're going to have trouble.
