The bath with Kari
Kari was freelance gaffer that decided she wanted to be the Star instead of behind the scene.
I know about the seam in the wall and the lack of a base board their showing was intentional!!

The seam down the middle kills it for me.

It is distracting... in some otherwise nice photographs.
The seam notwithstanding, the two of you did very well, I think.

Really shows the importance of having a good background in the image and placing the subject so it doesn't detract from viewers overall impression of the work.
That's an outstanding set you have with just the pitcher, basin, table, and chair. It's really ideal for B&W photographs. There's something on the left end of the table that I would remove. It's not really clear what it is. The second photo is my favorite. I would definitely take more photos at that location with her and other models. The dents in the wall are kind of distracting. The portion of the wall that's to the left of the seam looks to be in good condition. Maybe it's possible to move the entire set to the left so it's in front of the wall without the dents.

LR/PS will dispatch the seam and dents in a jiffy.
Seam is an easy fix as are those "dents". I like it the first two because of the vignette in the lighting.
agree that the second picture is by far the best. wider range of light there helps it as well as the simple layout.....take whatever that is on the table off and leave just the three elements and you have winner.
Seam doesn't bother. Third one works. Relaxed.

I don't see why the seam bothers some people. It adds to the realism of the photo, as if it is shot in an old house. I like the classic look.
