We had a nice little vacation in Boston and one of the things I was able to tick off my bucket list was a trip out to Cape Code. The traffic was horrendous (4th of July weekend!) but we made it out to the very tip with enough daylight to still get wet in the surf. I took this right before we left, critiques welcome!
Was the sunset actually behind you? If so you caught nice lighting on the sand. Maybe you have come up with a new study of sunsets; not the sunset its self but what its warm glow does as it lights up what is in front of it.

Very attractive golden hour lighting.

I would lighten the foreground just a bit. Otherwise, very nice!
The light and angle of the sun make this image. Stunning color and wonderful textures. And you were able to avoid the crowds for the photo!
Your camera's clock was still on Alaska time, though, LOL (says 1540 - 3:40 pm).
edit - I see the suggestion of lightening the foreground. I'd keep dark, or make even a tiny bit darker (subjective and dependent on viewers' monitors/devices), to keep the focus the attention on the golden.
Great colour and spaciousness. The boulders for foreground interest are very nice. Good image.
Thanks all. Originally it was a bit darker and although I liked the mood it set I thought it was a bit too moody. Didn't think about resetting the clock! ;-)
Beautiful image, Volk359!
A very pleasing image. I'm glad you posted this one.
