Another chain that does right for Veterans is Lowe's. Show your ID or medical card and get 10% off everything.

From what the OP wrote it doesn't sound like Walmart is crooked or dishonest. It looks like they are giving veterans a break. I only wish the current administration cared as much about America's veterans. If you have a problem with Walmart don't shop there. See how simple that is. For us common sense folks Walmart offers a good value on some of the things we purchase. Walmart also provides a job to thousands of Americans. I don't believe any of those employees were forced to accept employment.

I use them quite frequently! Depot is getting more and more limited with respect to what you can get the discount on,Lowes is more liberal.

Cabela's also does a veteran discount everyday. I think it is 10% on everything except firearms only 5% on them.You just to show your card or your DD 214.

How much do you have to spend such that price savings equal you $45. Have you compared the Sams Club prices with other local stores.
