Please do us the favor of defining 'Liberalism' as you know it. Also it might be interesting to hear just how you would set things up. You may have some good ideas.

So let me see if I have this right.

These Muslims in Switzerland have no right to be using their religious beliefs to justify their behavior, but here in America we glorify a dipshit homophobic county clerk for using the same argument to justify discriminating against gay couples. If that isn't the definition of hypocrisy, I don't know what is. Just sayin'.

I would not expect you to have any respect for anyone other than the Halfrican trash you serve.

Big difference...... The Swiss Muslim behavior was demeaning to both their culture and other individuals with rights.

The clerk was stepping on no one else's rights, was never glorified, and as I recall legally lost.

Grow up.

Grow up?
That is asking too much, Cykdelic.

The Muslims were guests in a country kind enough to accept them, they disrespected the country that helped them. The clerk was a citizen of the country who's freedom and honor she was protecting.

Sorry, but that fundamentalist Christian thought that her religious upbringing gave her the right to deny two fellow citizens their rights. How long will it take before people realize that they can have the most screwed up beliefs [that is one of America's strengths: we guarantee the right to anyone to have the wackiest off the wall f*cked up '''religion"]...Scientology? anyone? BUT keep your screwball idiotic weirdness to yourself and do your job. Refusing to administer your legal authority to someone that you don't agree with is unmitigated bullshit. If you think you are within your rights to do so..then I think that you have just spit on our Bill of Rights. If you want a concise appraisal of religion, I encourage you to read the words of Karl Marx.

I'm sure that you are quite familiar with the works of Karl Marx, this is the fourth of July, the day we celebrate our freedom, the freedom you and your kind wish to take from us. I went to war for this country and I will never bow down to trash like you or the crap you spout.

It comes down to this. If someone has a religious belief, they have a right to respect it for themselves and those who believe with them, but it gives them no right to inflict it on others. That is what a religious right is and how it is practiced. No matter how off the wall others see ones customs are, they still have a right to practice it among themselves. That is what the Constitution grants us, but it does not give us the right to impose those beliefs on others. I just don't understand why so many today cannot understand this? It's not rocket science!

phcaan Listen fellow...I gave four years to the US Navy and the United States. During those years, I was, like all others in the service of this country, expected to do what I was told without any questions, in the defense of this country. I have read Marx and the thoughts and ideas of many people. You come across as ignorant. There is no harm in knowledge, but I don't think that you know anything about that. So, on the eve of the Fourth of July, know that many have died to assure that you have the opportunity to say whatever comes into your head, however insulting, crass or just plain ignorant.

Well when you can tell me about you combat experience, talk to me. You talk of ignorance, you may want to study some American history that has not been re-written by your PC professors. I can never accept your liberal agenda, I am an American. Try it.

Muslims do not separate church and state, it is all one.
