I was sitting in my backyard this afternoon to try for some bird photo's and just happened to look to my right and this guy was hanging out me, well for three photo's anyway...
only posting photo's one and two as all three pretty much looked alike as he never moved till he moved as in gone....

Public enemy number one in this country. Millions of the little buggers eating the grass on farms. So reaching for a camera is not the first thought! But nice pics anyway, you were lucky to be that close.

sorry to hear that....they do eat on my garden, but usually if I grad my camera that scares everything away..lol

They taste quite nice in a stew with plenty of flavourings. The big trouble is spitting out the shot when you bite down on it!
Anyway, joke aside, a great little sequence of shots of them. I like No 3 also, can see him (her) making up his mind about bolting off into the distance. Well done.

lol...this guy was so close I could have just about reached over and snapped his neck....no worries about shot that way...
