Try doing as System Restore to an earlier time, before the PCC update.

Then make sure you do a backup of all your important Documents and Pictures.

Try the PCC update again afterward.

I'm surprised Adobe did not tell you that simple fix for updates (or for downloads) gone wrong.

Good luck.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

All you need to do is reload your plug-ins, it took me a whole 4 minutes to reload mine, not a big deal at all. The upgrades are worth it.

No, Windows only. You can run it in Bootcamp or Parallels.

Last night I had an automatic update to PS CC.
This morning ALL my plug-ins are gone. Trying to contact Adobe to get this fixed is like trying to win the lottery.
I got into a "chat"session with one of the "helpers" and he sent a web link that would fix the problem. I clicked on the link and found the information useless. Also found the chat link had closed. Then I got an email from Adobe telling me they considered my case resolved. Well pig's a... it's resolved. I am discontinuing my CC conscription when it expires and going to Corel Paint Shop Pro.

Funny, I did the same thing three days ago - no issues, everything is where it's supposed to be. Sorry you had a hard time. Normally, all you have to do is move the plugins from the old plugin folder to the new, and if your application shows it is a 15 day trial, you just need to log out of your creative cloud manager, and log back in. I didn't have to do this this time, but I have in the past.

Good luck with Corel.

I also had the update installed. I have to date no problems with plug ins or any options that are installed.

As a software developer, issues on upgrades are a common issue. i hear my customers complain. Some move to other software only to be hammered by new issues in other areas. One thing you learn is you become accustom too certain things happening and are ready for them. Moving to new software is walking through a whole new jungle with new and interesting animals that have their own way of killing you. I have many years invested in Photoshop. I do like the CC. I don't understand the AUTO update. I have to initiate mine. I guess it's like when Windows decides to upgrade to 10 without you asking it. Guess everyone switched to Mac or Linux when that happened. Now there's a learning curve.

Don't know, maybe it's because you use a Mac. I'm no expert on computers and software but I can recognize inconsistency when I see it. This is not the first upgrade I've had since I installed PS CC but it IS the first that has shut down all my plugins.

The new Adobe Photoshop CC that just came out is not an upgrade. It's a whole new program. Even the opening screen is different. Could be that is the reason why your plugins aren't there. Ya just have to reinstall your plugins.

I still use the older CS6, does the CC version have the preference option to look in a specific folder for additional plugins. I use this option to avoid similar issues.

I lost all my plug-ins, actions, brushes & everything else I installed over the basic download.

If you look in the Program Files, in my case Windows (C)> Program Files> Adobe (don't know about Mac), you will notice that Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 is still there as well as CC 2015.5.

Copy your plug-ins from CC 2015 and paste them into the Plug-ins folder in CC 2015.5. They will the work.

Do the same for any brushes or actions etc, that you had installed and you will find that everything will be up and running again.

Hope this helps
Alan.

$10.00 US, slightly more for us "Southerners" ( south of the equator that is LoL).
But Corel Draw Paint Shop Pro is only about $400.00 Aus and you own it for life - cheap!
