Hey guys! I am new to this site, so I would really love some constructive criticism. I just got a brand new Nikon D3000, so I went out and tried to get to better know my camera. All of the below pics, excluding the first, were taken with the new camera. (This first is just some old point-n-shoot, LOL.) They haven't been edited at all. Enjoy!! :)

I really like your shots. We use Nikon D3000s at work but we don't get a chance to experiment much with them. I have my own D90 so I don't mess with the 3000's much. Maybe i need to get to know it a little better. Nice job!

Welcome aboard!! Your photos are good, I like your point of view, its kinda out of the box, I try for that too sometimes. You will find a great assortment of help on this site, I have been on for less than a month and I see great improvident in myself. So take it all in.

Hi..
I am too new to the site..
am enjoying the exploration process right now..
and.. i also have the Nikon D3000..
as a replacement for the D 40..
long story..
prior painter..who now has painful arthritis in hands..
needed to upgrade from my little kodak..
the first Nikon fit the bill with weight..
major consideration for me..
fit my small hand nicely..
ease of use..
i like your photos..
used it for EVERYTHING..
flowers..grandkids.. rescued felines 3..weddings..beaches..
but in less than two years, it totally crapped out!
after 4 returns for service..
they "gave" me a new camera..the D3000..
am not in love with it as much as the previous..
but am adapting..
I like your photos..
very much..
so we both will continuing practicing and exploring..
armed with our trusty Nikons..
as we weave our way through this new discovery!
