Three little Wrens looking for trouble in my garden.
For those interested:
Image taken in late afternoon, weak winter light which provides very soft light - ideal for high speed flash sync mode.
Equipment:
Nikon D810
Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 VR
Nikon SB-900 Speedlights (x3, one with Better Beamer)
Tripod with Wimberley gimbal head
Bird-hide overlooking birdbath
Flash arrangement, Exposure & Post:
Off camera master (with Beamer) @1/64 power, remote No.1 @ 1/64, No.2 @ 1/16
f/11 @ 1/320s
ISO 250
Nikon ND-X: Minor sharpen, raw conversion to 16 bit tiff. PSE 14: Minor crop, minor b'ground NR, resized & re-sharpened for web
