Color or black and white?

For me, color is an essential element in the makeup or character of any living being. So in the B&W image, I do not get as much sense of "life" of the bird as in the color version.

I prefer the color version. Your re-worked b&w shows more detail than the original b&w, but its still the color photo for me.

the colour has the upper hand on my vote, but the b/w has a smoldering film noire look. 👍👍👍

Thank you all for your kind comments. It appears that the color one wins. I do like the remake B & W better. I think I'll call it "The Maltese Hummer".
