You need $1000 52 weeks in a year so $20 a week = 1 new lens. That's not that hard to do quit cable get rid of your mobile phone contract, drink less beer, cycle / walk instead of drive, drop your internet subscription to a lower tier. Eat fresh not processed foods drop sugar from your coffee. grow your own veg. Smaller car,(less fuel, tax, insurance). Budget and don't stop saving. If you had been saving $20 a year for the last 12 months you would be able to have it already and if you have credit cards with an outstanding balance pay them down as fast as possible :) Switch utility providers if possible that usually saves a bit...

Good suggestions, but saving $20 a week doesn't require nearly that much sacrifice. > ALAN

You don't need to do all of them although $40 a week would get you there in 6 months.

$20 a year for the last 12 months leaves you with $20.

2nd ugliest, they are out uglied by the condor. The photo is a black vulture, not turkey vulture, less ugly, # 3 on the OMGTAUB scale.
Never thought of trying to get equipment this way, you might have started something, what a good idea in my case it would need to be £1.00

He'd need fewer of those...
Ha Ha, bdk. Luv you like a brother. If your idea works, be sure to let us know. But, just in case it doesn't, why not get it on a payment plan? Yes, of course, you pay some interest, but you will at least have that treasured lens when you really want it.
I like the photo you took,is that a condor? You made a good shot with the lens you had.I'm sure you will eventually get your Sigma lens.
