So far I have found this magazine from the U.K. the best yet. So far every issue has a DVD on how to improve your photos, A bunch of flash cards and best of all a over 100 page pages with very little advertisement. Digital Photography from U.K. also very good.

I have the online version and, limited though that is, it is very good. There are always some interesting and informative articles and links on both equipment and technique. The home delivery version is pretty pricey.

I've bought a couple of those overpriced UK magazines and the biggest difference was in the quality of printing, however I've stopped most of my print magazines, 1 hard copy magazine and 1 digital magazine are still coming. Now for background , I've been reading camera magazines since about 1960, give or take, they really are not covering much new as far as actual techniques, unless you consider Adobe , and I don't use Adobe products. As nice as the UK magazines are by the time I get them off the newsstands the promised included gifts are expired, after a couple of these occurrences if I really need to read an article I can usually find it elsewhere. N Photo is good for us Nikon users. They have started quoting prices in US Dollars for us Pound Sterling challenged readers. And at $110/year, $194 for digital and print, I'll buy one at a newsstand when they have it thank you very much.

Many years ago bought this and several other photography magazines each month. On average found that the ones from the U.K. were the best. Yes, was an expensive habit that took me many years to break. Now that I am retired and on a fixed income I go to my local book store, buy a large cup of coffee and pastry, and then select a couple of photo magazines to read. I still find that the ones from the U.K are generally the best, in particular their reviews of the newest cameras and lenses.

You mean the Nikon magazine? Is it called "N-Photo"? Someone gave me an old issue, and I liked it - and the dick - but the price wasn't reasonable. Even getting it as a download was very expensive.

Yep, and more enjoyable and no clutter around the house, a year or so of those expensive magazines can pay for a lens for us retired folks, or a day trip to shoot things.

I get NPHOTO and it is well written and printed and comes with a DVD in each issue to show you many techniques.

It's always good to have an idea of what are the new photographic styles, from any magazine.

They are expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. One approach may be to buy/subscribe to the applicable Canon or Nikon devoted magazines for a year or so after you buy a new camera. Their articles will be focused towards the new model for that time period. I have been a subscriber to the Canon version, PhotoPlus for some time now. My complaint is their non-US-Standard paper size. Snipping articles and filing them in a notebook is impractical.
