Taken in the Loess Hills State Forest.
That's one heck of a barn. Really nice shots!

This was a really serendipitous find. I was killing time waiting for sunset so I could take some photos at sundown and decided to explore a bit when I ran across it. It was on public ground, so there was no problem with trespassing. You can see the sunset photo here:

Nice angled perspective on the first shot and great close up on the second. Both well done and very enjoyable.
I like that you showed us the setting as well as a detail. Super processing on both these series. Are you using raw? Any Nik filters?
nice shots love old barns
Both of these are nice. I really like the composition on the second one.
Now those are what I call "AWESOME" shots..thats what I shoot most of. old Barns

Thank you Linda. Yes, I only shoot in Raw, and I suspect you can tell I use Nik software as well after initial PP in Lightroom. I thought Lr was great when I got it but I have to say I'm grateful to Google for making the Nik collection available for free, as I never would have known how wonderful it is. I have a photo that I posted in one of the early FYC Ten chapter studies of a shot of a windmill that was just ok. A couple weeks later after downloading the Nik collection, I was playing around with it and used that photo to see what it would do and WOW, I was amazed at the improvement I got.
