Someone told me about a new selfie stick. It has a light and little fans that give your hair that windblown look. It's call UnReal, but it is real. Google should be able to find it for you.

Several places are now outlawing selfie sticks. Many of the museums in Washington DC no longer allow them. Several art museums in NYC also have ousted there use. They can be dangerous in a crowd and worst of all are the really long ones people use to get that extra large group shot. Yesterday I saw a guy that had a 6 foot pole with a thingie on the end that held his phone. 6 FOOT! Where are we going with this thing.

Funny, after watching the video on Utube I noticed mine does the same thing when I see a cute face.

I'm calling for a national ban on selfi sticks. Besides the obvious reason, they could also be used as a weapon. 😳
Please tell me if I'm missing something. Before the Era of the Selfie, didn't folks simply ask a favor of someone else there, and ask them to take their picture using their camera?

Mono pod of course. They are actually a useful device, especially in crowds with a bluetooth remote. You know they can be used pointing away as well as towards the user. Most of them are too lightweight for a heavy camera but m43 certainly can work. As for using as a weapon , maybe tripods should be outlawed.

And sometimes lose their camera to an opportunistic thief! Call me old fashion, but I fail to see the appeal of "selfies". I can see my face in the mirror anytime I want. Why would I want to see it in all my photos? I'd rather spend my time trying to figure out how to get that cute girl over there in the shot without being too obvious about it!
What'll be next----I'm going on vacation to Yellowstone, which selfie stick should I take?
There was an article that I tried to send to myself, but it didn't make it. It was about photographers (well, people with cameras) doing something bad with that colorful pool at Yellowstone.

I find the mirror less and less appealing as the years roll by. :D
As for that pretty girl, try a right-angle lens adapter. :D
