Shooting wildlife last Thursday, looking for Black Bear and Cubs, Gray Wolves, and so on. Did see this deer standing and she turned and jumped. I did not know I had this shot until I got home. Kind of cool.
They don't call 'em white tail for nothin' :) I love this shot! The background has a sort of artsy feel to it - the light and blur. The framing is great, with trees and both sides of the clearing. And of course the perfect moment you pushed the button. Really appealing!

Very cool!
That's a great shot - well done
Is it a whitetail? Apologies, not good on American deer species.
I had something similar a week or so ago, where I had see a roe buck (capreolus capreolus) disappear into a wood. I quick made my way to the edge and, sure enough, it reappeared only to see me and make itself scarce. When I got back home I found an image pretty close to yours.
Did you have any luck with the bear or wolves? Sadly not species we get to see over here.
Great catch! The deer was really flying!
