This old barn is near Kortright in Upstate New York. In the area there are several other barns with grass covered ramps or bridges covered in grass. I also admire the stone work under the grass.

It is amazing how long those rock wall stand up. My great grand dad built a rock fence about a mile long and most of it is still standing after about 120 years.

It is against the law to remove an old stone wall in Ct. They are considered historic landmarks or some such title. Makes me happy.
