Thoughts on KEH Camera

I have bought several lenses from them and found their rating system to be misleading, they seam to under rate the quality of the lenses they sell. I have gotten several lenses that they rated at good which I would have rated at near new condition. I also had a problem with one lens 5 month after I purchased it, and they gave me a full credit toward the purchase of another lens because they did not have that lens in stock to replace my lens.

I have built several camera systems over the last 20 years and have never had a problem dealing with KEH. The only problem I had (a film magazine for a 120 camera) was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I have no hesitation to recommend them!

Am sitting here waiting for a Nikon 1 V1 body to be delivered today from KEH via Fedex. They are a flawless company to deal with. Have been dealing with them for a couple of years.

I have done a great deal of business with KEH not only are they trustworthy but they go above and beyond they ship FedEx 2 day, normally shipping is free. They stand behind the gear they sell, and the rating system is awesome I just bought an older lens that was labeled as ugly, I cannot find a body scratch on it and oh yes it cost 39 cents

I'll agree with everyone else BUT, I will say I've never thought they were cheap or even close to it!!
Make sure that discount is on your lens and not just for say, old film lenses or something!
AND their shipping is outrageously expensive. Add that into whatever you buy.
I ONLY buy on free shipping days!!

yes buying only on free shipping days is the way to go, and the 39 cent lens that I just got was a film lens but it works nicely on my D800, on new lenses they are not cheap, along with the cheap lens I bought 2 more lenses one a 24mm sigma, and a 14mm sigma they were cheaper by 125.00 than the nearest competitor, a person just needs to shop the site and be willing to use a lens thats a couple to a few years old or the newest thing out there
