Any longer of an extension and you will have to crawl into the tube to find the focus point. Nice and very presice work.

Definite ghosting on upper photo, which is a result of aperture refraction.

Similar on lower photo, but less distinct due to darker color of subject.

Enlargement would reveal extent of focal softness.

Just dont get Pringle dust on your sensor, its hell getting your tongue to lick it off.
Good imrovisation. I once had a 25" focal length lens that I mounted on the end of a plastic drainpipe, it fitted on the outside of a similar but smaller diameter pipe You slid the tubes apart to focuss. The camera was a 6x6 centimer negatie Reflex Korelle. Only the ancients amongst us will remeber that cameara but it made a great Bird Picture camera.

Reminds me of the Speed Graphic 4X5 press camera I trained on. I was army air photog, darkroom tech, photo interpreter trained by Canadian Air Force.
My best shot on the course was a C-119 Flying Boxcar landing with one engine running the other trailing smoke.
It was a student pilot and the smoothest landing he ever made.

Looks like a pin point to me. I was expecting to see something written on the head of a pin. ; )
