Final try. 72 dpi copy of a 72 dpi display. Oh well.
Amazing...how did you get the trio posed with no imprints in the sand, lowered from above?

That is easy. There is a lot of hard packed sand in different places. There are some beaches on the east coast that even the weight of a car will not make an impression. I guess you have never experienced that?
I don't like it, I think its great... :D
Ok you hooked me on the title, and I wasn't disappointed with the shot either once I saw it! There's so many things I like about it, but the main thing is that it gives off a feeling, to me joy. I've had so many great days at the beach with my family growing up, and this takes me back there. Technically it's a great shot too.
Worth the wait! Nice one!
Very well done, great lighting and composition. The shadows add another point of interest.

I do too! Nice composition... shadows draw the viewer right into the photo. Good job.

I think you did a great job here, especially for a back lit scene. Tough situation to get a decent exposure and you did very well. Congrats!
great black and white!
