 :  I like my Black Rapid. Camera slides up. Another option is Bos strap.

I have used UPstrap for years on many different cameras. I think they are the most convenient strap designed to not slip off of your shoulder.
I agree. I love my UPstraps, and they're reasonably priced. Also, because of the clip system, you can customize.

I had a BlackRapid sling strap. It was very good except it attaches to the camera by the tripod socket. To use a tripod you must first detach the BlackRapid strap, then attach the quick release plate. Then you have to reverse the sequence to go back to the strap.
The OPTechUSA sling strap attaches to the camera by the strap lug leaving the tripod socket/quick release plate free to go on to the tripod and reverse without all finagling around.

Mac, I use an L bracket with an arca-swiss arrangement. I attach it to a Kirk arca-swiss clamp and it quickly detaches making it a breeze to use with a tripod.
Take a look at this arrangement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O10I4D5VaFEI do something similar, but I get my L brackets from Really Right Stuff and use a RRS B2-FABN strap boss clamp which allows my to attach my Black Rapid or my Bos strap.
You might want to take a look at BLACKRAPID.COM. I use the SPORT most of the time.

I have 2 OpTech and love them.
On a winter jacket back in the day when I did a lot of cross country skiing, I had chest high strap with velcro. The camera case had a velcro patch and an ordinary strap - the velco kept it from flopping around but is was still easy to swing into picture taking position. The kind of strap sort of depends on your usage: one kind for strolling down the lane, another for scrambling among the rocks.

Hey bro I wanna buy a pair of shoes and you obviously seek advice before buying quite simple items so Im sure you can point me at a good web site for footwear?
If this were a Shoe forum your question would be quite appropriate. However, as you are no doubt aware, this is a photography forum. A forum, where your shoe fetish question is as silly as a camera strap fetish question would be on the Shoe forum.
Wake up grumpy this morning?

Hello all! I want to purchase a camera strap to allow for carrying my camera.
I have a 70D with battery grip and want to be able to swing it up to use it when I'm out walking around taking outdoor photos. I know there are different types but am wondering which ones I should consider & should I buy some Canon or B&H or Adorama or where? Thanks fo your input!
I bought a strap that has foam rubber at the neck. Soft and comfortable and I can wear it for hours at a time. It was about $15. or so.

Hello, Give the Carry speed prime fs-pro a look at
www.carryspeedstrap.com. I've been using this sling strap for a short time with a Canon 60D and Canon 70/200 lens. This has been the most comfortable and secure system I've used so far.
I looked. T'aint no such URL as
www.carryspeedstrap.com. However, there is a
http://www.carryspeed.com/ on the odd chance someone gets this far into this thread.

I have used many and I like my Canon strap the best, it is cushioned just right, has quick release buckles - and that's all I asked for!
