Anyone using Costco for printing?
Anyone from the Houston TX area using a local Costco?
Will they provide profiles?
What are you thoughts on the results.
Thanks,
Rick

Probably would be a good idea to go and check for yourself since you're in the vicinity.

I use Costco in Anchorage, they do have the printer profiles on line for their printers. ask at the photo center, they should be able to tell you where.
I have had good results. if you aren't happy with the prints they will rebound your money

I just went online and looked. if you go to the bottom of the photo center page, printer profiles is in small print at the bottom.
it takes you to Dry Creeks site, click your state for local profiles.

I use Costco a lot. Very happy with picture quality, 4x6, enlargements, and photo books. Don't use profiles.
I shoot raw, make adjustments in Lightroom, export from Lightroom as jpg, then upload to Costco.
One of the great things about Costco is that they print the file name of the photo on the back. Our Walgreens does not do that.

A new Costco is opening on the South side of Indy in June. I assume the store will have the latest of everything. I have never used Costco, but plan to check out their printing.

Some fellows in a camera collectors group that I belong to have brought in enlarged prints made at Costco. They looked very good to me.

I concur. Actually, if you give them a properly exposed file, edited or not, the prints are outstanding. However, do not expect someone who is knowledgeable. As friendly Sue told me the other day, "I am only a soccer mom."

Invest a few dollars and check for yourself. For my needs, Costco does a good job--- prints as large as 20 inches by 30 inches.
Order the prints, and pick them up the next day. Good excuse to have a hot dog.

Thanks stableduck. I had looked at the photo center page but missed the profile info.

Houston, we do not have a problem! Pocatello ID Costco does great job. They can print and give profile. I saw a several hundred dollar job. I use them as test as we have a custom printer in town. Costco is convenient fast and accurate. I chose Polish dog. I have been around the world several times and there is no toilet paper to compare with Costco.

I have used their services at our local store in E Peoria, IL. Their prints are equal, and in some cases better than many of the "one hour" places and Kiosks. Their large canvas prints are also very good. They are obviously not Pro level, but they seem to be better than labs that charge twice the price, and they will refund your money if you are not satisfied.

I have been using Costco for years. I make 12 X 18 at $4.00 @. They are also fast most of the time (1 Hour or less) I did 45 of the once in 1 hours and 15 min is what they told me but, were done in 1 hour.

They are upgrading (New machines) next week in the store I use we will see if an adjustment is needed.
