Imagine someone designing an app that would encourage people to drive fast. One person is in the hospital and will probably recover, but another has serious brain injuries.

With the urging of lawyers without scruples, the notion that one is not responsible for one's own actions has made the former rich and others even more irresponsible. A sorry state of affairs.

"Lawyers Without Scruples" - That sounds like "Doctors Without Borders," only bad.

A quote from the article--
"Snapchat has an obligation under the law not to place dangerous items into the stream of commerce, and they have a responsibility to act reasonably to take steps to eliminate risks associated with their products.”

If Snapchat is found guilty, gun manufactures will be shaking in their boots.

I think it would be a big leap from one to the other. The purpose of that app - or filter - is to post how fast you're driving. Going the speed limit would be a non event. If gun makers had an app to let owners post how many people they had shot, that would be a different story. Even if that did happen, I doubt gun makers would suffer any penalties. After all - The Second Amendment.

It would seem that this idiotess misused the app for something that it was never intended to be used. That is as bad as saying they should sue Mercedes for designing a car that could be driven at such fast speeds.
