Well, I have to say this is a venture for me. I'm new to "posting"; photographs or messages to complete strangers! This seems like a good place to start and get some feedback and critiquing on my photos. I've taken pictures most of my life without much thought to how to take a "good" one. So, I am completely green to most photography dialogue. Bare with me.
This sunset is a dated picture but has not been Photoshopped or altered other then cropped, as I am still learning "how" to use tools to help.
Second picture was from last autumn. I was deciding whether to crop it and bring the bee up closer or keep it the way it is with the second flower in focus (to the right).

Thank-you! Using a Nikon camera now that allows for manual settings. I'm liking it. I need to add a zoom and a wide-angle lens.

Welcome Missy. I would experiement by cropping the bee in the flower to concentrate on that portion of the image.

Welcome to the UHH,
This is a great place to find anything related to photography, to get inspired, motivated, and to learn from great people willing to share.
I like both images and prefer the cropping of the bee that you did upon suggestion of a member here.
Enjoy and keep shooting. "the camera"
