Beautiful work Erv. It's almost too pretty to put out in the weather. I'm sure the birds will appreciate it though.

Agree! And don't take the fact that the birds will poop all over it as a critique. What do they know, they have "bird brains!"

Get off the blood thinner or anti - coagulates before they kill you. I was on them for several years and told the doc. I was done with bleeding every time I put my hand in my jeans pocket. I did not own a handkerchief that wasn't stained with blood and dark bruises on my arms. I have friends that have quit taking the meds and are doing much better . My cardio doc on the last visit said he didn't need to see me for a year and my vascular doc every 6 months. I'm sure you have already experienced a small scratch and how much and how long you bleed. OK enough. That is a very beautiful bird feeder. I do woodworking and build cabinets also so trust me when I say be careful.

Looks great Erv! I'm on blood thinners too but still try to make some things occasionally when needed but your work sure tops mine. Thanks for sharing.

I have always enjoyed working with wood and have a basement full of power tools. Made many of our furniture peices, lots of boxes, and a bunch of what I call decorator bird houses. The bird houses were built from scrapes of furniture efforts. Pine, Cherry, Maple and Butternut. Now I can't stand on cement long enough to complete a project and am dealing with the idea of disposing of the equipment. Loved your bird house.
