HI all,I started back with konica,konica-minolta,minolta,worked my way up to now an a-6000, still use the old lenses......I have a pristine Minolta 300mm 2.8 auto focus that would make you salivate.......photography is a key that opens doors.....who said that.....
Good for you! I think you made the right choice ~ especially if this is your first Sony(Konica-Minolta) digital camera. Several of us who used Konica-Minolta film cameras in ancient times, took this (your) path and we're glad we did. If you ever bump into one of the modern Sony Chinese-made primes at a bargain price (under $200), I think you'll find it a worthy addition to your collection (if you happen to use that focal length).
The Sony a6000 will probably have a lot to teach you about digital photography.
