I put my camera away after shooting one day and had no desire to take it out again until today. My wife and I took a ride to Seward for lunch and I brought it along.
I thought I would share a few

The hiatus apparently didn't hurt your eye. Nicely done sir.

It's good to take a break from a hobby now and then, particularly when one feels the passion and excitement fading. Then return later to the hobby refreshed with a renewed passion and vision. Although I don't imagine I can go for more than a year without photography at this point; a few weeks at most!
A beautiful set you have here. With lots of variety too. I think I like "end of the line" best, but all are outstanding. Keep them coming, stableduck!
thank you Ron, I hope to get reacquainted with it again.
thanks Rook, I would have never thought I would have taken that long of a break
Thank you for sharing these. Nice!

Thank you Jim, always love photos from Alaska, each one is a postcard from there. Keep the dust off the camera.

Really glad you picked it up again. This is a lovely series. Thanks for taking us along.
Nice photos--welcome back. There's nothing wrong with a break; I took one for about ten years once.
very enjoyable series--well done
