Damn it, don't post stuff like this, now I want one.
Over 30 years ago when I was a mailman somebody on my route had a world war two artillery cannon. It was kept at a State police station and he used it during military ceremonies and other events. It shot blanks during these creremonies but he did get to shoot live rounds a couple of times when doing events for army brass. Said it was a hell of a rush.
There's a Civil War battle re-enactment coming up nearby in a couple of weeks . I went to it last year and the final day they fire up the old canons (blanks of course) but the sound and smoke are awesome. I'm going to film some video from my drone and put it on Vimeo. I'll try to remember to post a link.
