I did check,thank u very much! Adorama & B&H want $496.95 for a new lens.This lens is less than a year old & was used very little.I think $ 300.00 is a fair price.You have to be careful whom u purchase camera gear from when buying on eBay.I was not looking to make a killing on this sale,just asking a fair price!!!

I paid the same as you did for this lens. But I really love it. $300 is a good price. Camera equip. Is like a new car - immediately depreciates - good luck with the sale.

Here's the thing - maybe a small adjustment would be just what someone needs to afford it. Check B&H and see what they will offer - it really comes down to what a person needs - the $$ or the lens.

Someone here says u can go to eBay & purchase this lens brand new for $229.00,so there u have it.They think I should sell it for way less,like $100.00 or so.I never got an actual offer for less so I am just guessing.If I have to sell this lens for $100.00,I'll just keep it.I don't need to sell it but hated to see it sit in the box unused.If I got a reasonable offer I would sell it but I don't think that will happen here anyway.
