This is by no means meant to be technical comparison.

Just an illustration of what different lenses produce in similar environments.

Both at f9, the distance may be closer on the first image but not by much. The crop is much less severe on the second image.

look at the Brocka with the nikon . You will always get a better picture with a prime lens vs a zoom. The Detail is sharper on the Tamaron

Both are prime lenses.
