Maybe I am biased, but shooting alone seems to always bring me the best results. These are wonderful, and lucky you to be in that spot at that time! While portraits and still poses can be very nice, there is nothing like capturing a wild thing doing some neat activity such as this! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shots. Excellent work! I've seen thousands of egrets, but never a Reddish one. It's a gorgeous bird!

I visited Winter Park for a few hours in in 2014. Beautiful town!
Thanks for posting.

This Reddish Egret was a joy to watch, never seen anything like it.
He was running through the water, trying to catch fish.

He would totally dive under, then emerge and shaking himself, and repeat the whole thing again.

I took those images on a cloudy day at my favorite Wildlife Dr. The best part was nobody else was around, gave me lots of space.

Thanks so much, Mark!
Those Reddish Egrets are beautiful birds, you don't see them that often.
There was just one at that Pond when I took the image. He was putting on a great show, never seen anything like it. Thanks for taking a look!

I have to agree 100 percent with you, when I am alone I seem to get my best shots. With a lot of people around it never seems so work out.
I try to go early in the morning also.
Thanks for your nice comment and stopping by.

Thank you raymondh for taking a look at the images.
Those Reddish Egrets are beautiful birds, this particular one was doing all those funny poses, he was actually trying to catch some fish, he was diving and shaking himself, he even went sideways a few times.
I had the most fun shooting this bird.

You would have gotten a kick out of that bird, he made the funniest poses I ever seen.
