I have just returned from a trip 124 miles inside the Arctic Circle where we stayed in the Abisko National Park in Swedish Lapland. We had gone there to view, experience and photograph the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights). We had previously been twice to Iceland to complete our quest and tick off our bucket list and both times we were unsuccessful due to cloudy weather.
But not this time, in temperatures of -25 and some of the clearest skies I was fortunate to get some good shots of the Northern Lights.

I used a Nikon D7100 with a Nikon 18-200mm lens, most images were taken at 10-15 secs, with the lens wide open at F3.5 and ISO 1600.

Nice series. Hope you don't get the end of your BList too soon!

Glad to see so were finally rewarded for your persistence. Having a foreground element in each image made them much more interesting than others I have seen.
