I was recently inspired by Tad1937's Tennessee photos. I knew I had some myself...it was just a matter of digging them up. I hope many of you will enjoy a few of my scenes from the Smokey Mountain and Gatlinburg area. These are from 2012 using my Sony A55 shot in beautiful 16:9 Wide-screen.

Very enjoyable series!
Thanks Carol...there's just so much to see and photograph in that area. I never come home disappointed.
Very lovely series, James. Tennessee is one of the few states I've never visited!

Excellent set, James. Love them all. :-D :-D
These are great shots James. The scenic ones almost look like 3D. What did you do?

Those were shot with a Sony a55 DSLR camera using the built-in HDR feature. It is a true HDR in that the camera took 3 different exposures, then combined them into a single jpeg. For processing to make everything pop a little more...I used Topaz Adjust and bumped up the colors a tad. Now HDR on outdoor scenes needs to be done in very calm windless days, otherwise you can get ghosted looking leaves due to the movement of them during the 3 exposures.
Thanks Folks for stopping by. I appreciate all who left comments, again...much obliged! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
Nice work on this group, James. Interesting shots of the mill and cabin, and lovely scenic views of the city and Trillum gap.
Lots of history there James! Nice job!
