I took these three years ago and have forgotten what he told me the photo shoot was for. I apologise in advance. But I'm thinking on it. He couldn't talk much cause he had to concentrate on what all those cameras were doing.

Alan, it doesn't look like an ideal day to be photographing there, lot's of haze.

He wasn't doing this just for the scenery. It had something to do with some sort of research.

Doesn't sound like he knew what he was doing either. Forget it and don't worry about it.

I'm just curious about how he carried all that gear to that spot. Did you see any sherpas standing around? How would you like to set all that stuff up and then see black thunder clouds rolling in?!

Elements 14 and Photoshop can do away with the haze in photographs.

Might of though he hit a home run. There are those that are not as fair weather as you and I.

The cameras all shot automatically on timers. The saw horse looking thing was a motorized track moving the camera. He had Canons, Nikons, at least one Sony, and some were point and shoots. The whole setup had been there a couple of days and had a day or two to go.

I don't know. I was mostly really impressed by the amount of equipment. I think I figured about $50,000 dollars worth of stuff.

Sometimes it is more beneficial to watch what other shooters do than what they turn out. Some very creative people go to great lengths to capture an image.
