Wow. Saw this thread early this morning before i went out. Came back, and it was 11 pages long!

PMs are fine for holding down the noise level on the forums. They certainly have no place as forms of abuse.

Regardless of Frederdane's ability or lack thereof, he has no expectation that a "private message" that is abusive will remain that way. I'd suggest that anyone receiving an abusive message notify the Admin, and feel free to post that message publicly.

By the way, does my 12 megapixel camera pass the test for adequacy? Just askin'!

I just looked at frederdane's pics and I am newbie photographer but I think most of the pics I would never have taken let alone posted. I don't think he should be offering any advice or critiqueing anyone's photo's. He seems like a spineless jellyfish to me, but I am still new here. I would say take his rants with a grain of salt but I don't think he is worth a grain of salt!

fivedawgs was a brilliant writer (she has published books). Unfoturnately some people did not like her because she was a very strong person. She was bullie off the forum with PM's and attach out in the open on threads. She just felt it was not worth it.

I'm still friends with her on Flickr, Facebook, and through e-mails. I wish she would come back, but she won't.

I shoot with a 6MP and get good results up to 11x14. Largest I've printed. And I'm a bit picky. I would love to move up as far as MP but I'm not sure it's worth the price. I do intend to get a new body but the models change so often in my thinking wait on the newest greatest and buy the closeout. :thumbup: You'll never have the newest just like with your computer. It's outdated when you walk out the door. :thumbup: For the spelling police, is newest spelled properly? I really don't care so save your fingertips.

I'll have to agree with snowbear!

I've seen a handfull of POOR remarks on UHH, but I've been quite able to laugh at most of them and ignore those that aren't funny. Only because I'm always learning how to 'ask about' or 'respond to' others abilities as a friend!

As for the fellow that got MWAC upset, I looked at the pictures posted and found them to be 'crisp' probably due to the hardware used. I'll have to say that the photographer wasn't to sharp in selecting his shots. Unless he was trying to make crap shots!

Remember 'art' is in the eye of the beholder! He He He Ha!

The most telling thing about his photo's on flicker is their 100% no comment by viewers. Because of his ego this has got to rile him. I bet one negative comment would cause him to bring down his site. His ego couldn't take it. I also bet you will never see another public comment by him on this board. They just pack up their bags and go to another site to bull _hit people.
