well all these nights looking at ebay postings of nikon film cameras finally got to me and i dusted off the n-90 and a roll of 200iso color print film and went for a walk. it was nice to hear a real shutter noise again. the following photos are not from this trip. it will be a while before i can afford development. I also took my little ol nikon l22 p+s and decided to shoot some tilde like mundane photos which i will post. i shot 15 film frames and 32 digital frames in about 3 hours time.

yes i did. with the n-90 i had a 28-90mm macro lens from quantray. i actualy got better telephoto of the l22. best 90$ i spent was on the l-22. 2nd best 90$ i ever spent was on the n-90 which i bought used from adorama 4 years ago. i though it was a bargin then, now i find n-90 on ebay going for $40.00

I bought my telephoto on e-bay, not sure if it was a deal or not. I knew when I bought it it wouldn't autofocus on my camera, my daughter loves it and it works on hers, but now I am having to spend money on the body for a diopter so I can shoot without glasses on and actually tell if I am in focus or not.
Your signature, at least I think that is what they call it, "bad boys" brings back memories when my girls were little. They used to run around the house singing that theme song.
Looking forward to seeing some of those comparison shots.

I love the footprint in cement! Worthy of a natural history museum exhibit, side-by-side with dinosaur fossil prints.

Would you consider cropping out the window above the three chairs, and the curbing below the chairs? Just for grins.

I simply love those chairs. I must need to open my eyes more so I can find lovely shots like that. The brilliant colors with a nondiscript surrounding just grabs me.

thank you for the kind words. it is amazing what we discover simple by changing our view from straight ahead to looking down. I have walked over that footprint hundreds of times on the sidewalk and never noticed before. This also is what i call a bryan petersen shot. a photo that i credit his book learning to see creatively for inspireing me to find that shot.

The multi colored chair shot is on the side of a car wash, one of the supervisors there wasn't happy i was shooting photographs even though i was on the sidewalk and not private property, so I had to rush it. I will try your sugestions after i come home from church later this morning and will post the edited version later today.

Well folks look pretty good, just remember why you
did what you do. Van Go was a lunatic but genius at
his trade. (spelling counts not)

*snickers wickedly naughty-like*
William, was that a veiled comment calling me... US... a lunatic!?

;)

In my case, you'd be right... but surely not Sinatraman!
No way.... *snickers*
He'd be the genius... I'd be the nut-job.
Put the two of us together and we'd give VanGoh a run for his money!

Just having a little fun to brighten up an otherwise dull Sunday here... thanks for the compliment and the great sense of humor. :)
